I ordered a book on income tax with flipkart on Monday and the order confirmation mail told me that the book will probably reach me by Friday. The mail contained the order tracking link also. To my surprise I got a SMS on Wednesday morning, telling that it will be delivered within 7 pm. I had ordered on Cash on Delivery basis. By 11.30 am, the flipkart man delivered the book at my home. I got the book at a discount of around 20% on MRP, free delivery, at my door step.
I was not at home when the book was delivered, the delivery man was good enough to call me and ask what to do. As per my instructions, he collected the cash from my Husband, whose office is some 2km away from my home and gave the packet to my maid who was at home.
BTW, I’m from Bangalore. I don’t know about the service in other places.
I’m totally satisfied and will shop again at flipkart..
