Very poor service.. flipkart lost a cutomer

I had ordered a breast pump combo pack worth 10500 from flipkart through other seller ofrorange. Flipkart made a mistake and gave a wrong order to the vendor and hence I got only half of the items worth 7000. I called customer care and told them that I need this product in emergency so either take it back (and I will buy it from some other shop) or give me the whole product.


They told me that they cannot comment on the issue before 72 hours !!!! wtf. After lots of follow up from my side they told me that first they will pick up my order and once it goes back to the seller then they will send back the full product separately which would take more than 5 days.


It had already been 10 days since I had got the product so I told them that I will use the product and they can reimburse me the balance amount of 3500 to which they refused and told me that either they replace the product or they will not give me any money back.


I was called my Shashank from ofororange to check about my product and when I told him about the whole story he told me to come to his shop and he will replace the product then and there. I went tohis shop in Jayanagar the next day and not only did he replace the product (no questions asked because I had not opened the product and just opened the flipkart packing) but he also gave me a discount for my discomfort.


One thing I could not understand was that when seller was okay with refunding the money or replacing the order or anything then why the hell did flipkart had to be so rude. I had raised a complaint to which they flatly told me in 1 line that "This order can only be replaced and nothing else"
