I used to be a big fan of Flipkart but lately shifted to Amazon. Compared to Amazons super fast delivery and friendly customer support I feel I can rate it only 3. But the products are genuine and lately Flipkart delivery speeds have improved. But still I feel very safe with Amazon Customer care. Let me give you example for this claim.
I buy a screen protector from Amazon ( Amazon Fulfilled) . After buying I noticed that the seller has his own website where he is selling it much cheaper. Before cancelling the order and ordering it from there I asked customer care representative over chat. He immediately said you are a valued customer sorry for the price issue, dont cancel the order let me give you the difference in form of Amazon gift card ( or something like that) . See this is why you feel so safe.
I buy a Camera lens, the listing showed a carry pouch and hood along with it. However that was not in the pack as the company changed the combo and it was not updated. I called up Amazon and told that, they told me to return the product, I said I will not since I have started using the lens, just send me my remaining items. They told me to buy the same from Nikon store and paid me the MRP on Nikons site which was almost 30% of the product.
Amazon reps have this liberty to go out of the box to satisfy loyal customers.
This kind of customer service is far from Flipkarts service.
