We Indians love sale and discount and I got a mail on 4th Oct 2014 from flipkart that there will be Indias biggest sale on 6 Oct 2014. I was excited as diwali is near and I wanted to buy good stuffs for diwali celebration. To my biggest surprise when I read 6th Oct 2014 TImes of India newspaper, they claimed that there will be crazy deals on some product, for example Rs. 1 for pendrive, blender, and mobile phone and 90%discount on samsung tab 2 for limited stock.
I immediately geared up, selected the product and waited for the sale to start at 8 am. The feeling was same as booking tatkal ticket from IRCTC website. Sale started and when I tried to buy the stuff, they showed a message saying "these products are not available in your area". I felt like a fool, I had ordered many product earlier from e commerce websites including flipkart and they never gave these kind of excuses that the product is not available in my area.To my surprise other products are available in the area.I felt like such a fool to have wasted my entire morning because of these frauds claim by Bansals. There was no information regarding the area where the claimed sale was applicable on the website.
It would be wonderful if the cheater Bansals will share the name of the area where these crazy deals were applicable and no. of customers who got crazy deal products. Another big surprise was that most of the claimed crazy deal products as advertised in TOI newspaper were not available in the website like JBL head set, Adata 2 tb hard drive, Wahl Trimmer, Gio Collection and other products. I am surprised that they made 1 billion fools on the name of The Big Billion Day sale .Where is consumer Court? what they are doing? a special mention. The only person who enjoyed the whole morning drama was my wife who watched me try so frantically to get the crazy deals at 8 am. I am sorry to have wasted my holiday(Bakrid).
