I have used flipkart several times in the past for book purchases, and have come out very happy with the experience. Nowadays however, most items are always ’out of stock’. This has happened to me so regularly that I feel compelled to write this review - hoping to bring it to the attention of flipkart decision makers. I even sign up for the ’notify-when-the-item-becomes-available’ thing, but so far no success with that. Once ’out of stock’, always ’out of stock’. This aspect of Flipkart is its worst feature, not to mention downright annoying.
Everything else, like shipping timeliness, customer service etc, about flipkart is commendable. If you do find stuff you are looking for, by all means I would recommend flipkart. Hope they fix this issue soon.
