Here is another peace for People who believe Online Retailer are really doing a Good Job.
Little BackGround.I wanted to buy a Macbook from Flipkart which cost around 91k from flipkart very own Seller - "WS Retail" and around 84k from other equally good seller listed on their site. They have recently started tagging their sellers as "Flipkart Advantage" just like Amazon commits for many seller -"fulfilled by Amazon" that means customer can be assured that Flipkart has done the quality check and themselves shipped the product.
Dissatisfying Experience.I am not much fond of Credit card and frankly speaking I don’t wanna spend beyond my means. I got a friends credit card which has some 50k limit only. I thought I will pay some 35 K by debit card and rest Credit card, but there was no such option available and I dialed customer care - " CCCAAAREEE ". Flipkart representative understood my dilemma and nodded -
"Yes Sir there is difference of 7 K and I will guide you step by STep how to buy your product from different retailer and with available payment modes you have".
Steps.
Create a dummy order of some 5k, buy anything sir - DONE:)
Cancel it immediately and you will get wallet money - DONE:)
Buy 3 Gift Card for 10, 00 each - DONE:)
Final Show.
Now Just buy and use Wallet, 3 Gift Cards and Credit Card, I tried and came to know it’s not possible wallet money and EGV’s can only be used for "WS Retail" product:(:(:(:( still:(
First Moment of Shock.
I tried calling again, they told me sir you can’t use your gift card and wallet money for products from different sellers.
Second Moment of Shock.
Manager of the guy whom I talked to told, no sir you actually can use your gift card but not wallet.
Now should I believe him or contact his manager to increase the percentage of FACT not mere Opinion.
