Flipkart's rude service

Please treat this as a complain against the delivery of package from Flipkart.


I had ordered for Philips product for cash on delivery. Firstly, the courier reached late at my address and I had to waste my whole day waiting for it. Secondly, the delivery person refused to acknowledge if the product was in right condition or not. He called his supervisor to whom I requested to let me have a peak at the product but he instead bluntly asked the courier guy to pick the product and leave without saying anything. Of all the customer service levels I am aware of, this one’s really low and I expected Flipkart to do better than this.


Thanks for your passionate comment. However, you are one of those lucky few who haven’t been on the receiving end yet. I have an email (in fact two) from Flipkart’s customer care team - first one communicated that the product will reach me within two days and at the second one (after my enquiry) simply gave the standard ’inconvenience regretted’ reply while informing that there will be a delay and the package will take two more business days.


Now my question is - why couldn’t they inform me this earlier and save mine as well as their’s time and effort?
