I had ordered a HDD for laptop from flipkart on 11th Nov 2012. I got the delivery on 16th Nov 2012. Turned out they had charged me for a higher version and delivered a inferior version. I called up the customer service and they promised a replacement soon. Next time around, the same thing happened. Invoice claims a different product from the delivered. So warranty is void.
On calling up the customer care, the CCA tells me that he has taken the complaint and now I should keep down the phone since there are other customers waiting in line. Thanks for telling me what a precious customer I am. On calling up again and speaking to Supervisor, I am told that the second delivery never happened. Their log shows that the courier guy found the door locked. I guess he forgot that he met me at the door and that I returned the product since the product was not what I wanted. Trying to reach the Customer Care Head was futile since I was told that he will not be able to attend to my complaint.
To top it all, the product I had ordered is still available and that too at a lower price than what I had ordered it at. The product that was delivered to me is also separately available.
So much for genuine products available on Flipkart.
