I always loved to buy things firsthand, have never bought anything online except airline and film tickets .I was only using online shopping websites to get an idea of the price of the products and reviews. Then I got to know bout flipkart from a good friend of mine and checked the website, found out that their prices are really competitive. I am Bengali and found out almost 9000 Bengali books onine, it was amazing & with discounted price and started ordering books. My first order was worth 117 rs, and that also cash on delivery., the process is really smooth and quick .I got a confirmation sms within seconds of ordering. The delivery came within 3 days as promised(though flipkart office is just 3-4 km frm my home, I expected a quicker delivery, but we all ask for more, right?) .the things I noticed are -
- Packaging is superb. No scope for damaging
2.if you are ordering 2-3 books together they send those in bits and pieces, like 3 books in 3 different package(they send quickly whichever is available first hand, dont wait for other books to come which is good)
- Cash on delivery and free shipping(where even restaurant guy charges 20 rs extra for home delivery:-)
After ordering books 2 times(COD) I tried to send books as gift to my girlfriend’s mother in Assam, and this time I paid through debit card. And the package was also delivered before the expected date. They sent me courier no and details via mail and sms.
Now I became quite confident about their service, but what bout price? till now I had been shopping Bengali books and this time I wanted to order a Hard disk external. I checked SP road entirely in Bangalore. All shops were asking at least 120 rs extra then the flipkart price, .I ordered it online and it too came to me within three days with superb packaging and full manufacturing warranty. Now I m extremely happy about their service and wish to buy more from this online shop. they should include apperal and more home appliances in their catalogue.
