I have been a loyal shopper of flipkart. What I didnt purchase from it? From tv, washing machine to casual dresses, household items, etc. also they have weird policies like heavy things will be delivered at my pincode on specific day only. What rubbish. Also while receiving tv fridge and sound system once I got automated call as to chose the open box delivery else we will not entertain damaged complaint further, where as the customer care said do not open the package while the delivery agent said we will unpack all for sure. What the hell?
But one pathetic thing happened. Once I ordered few dresses from a seller in Good Faith. Out of 7 I only received 3 with three different packages. Actually their ecart had stopped functioning in my area hence delivery team delivered. I shared OTP, how could I know how many dresses were there. Carton showed 3+3+1 on 3 packages accordingly.
I called the customer service but next day I got response that, money cant be refunded as they checked with delivery team and they said package was securely packed
So I asked their team again, as can the delivery agent look inside the package for the quantities? Being this loyal customer and spending lakhs I didnt expect from them.
Also before this could lead to trouble I again placed some ordered also some from the same seller hoping that it was a mistake but after the customer care response I came to know its a fraud. So I cancelled the items and what I could came to know that my account has been blocked.
Since then I lost almost 1600 and numerous calls but no way to revert it. Also their policies clearly mentioned that THEY CAN BLOCK YOUR ACCOUNT WITHOUT WARNING. I immediately dialer Amazon for their policies and they confirmed that they will call upfront the person for number of return request in case looks suspicious. And then finally could block it based on that
So now Im away from flipkart and only A to Z now.
