I had ordered a PAnasultansonic side by side fridge a few days back & had availed an exchange offer which discounted the price by ? 2000. Their option read Single Door >or= 200L. My old fridge is a Single Door 300+ L. The exchange & delivery was denied since the delivery team had documentation which mentioned 200L. Prior to that I had spoken to Customer Care thrice and had explained the issue threadbare and had alsomailed them on cs@flipkart.com(now defunct). I was assured on the phone & my email that the problem, which was absolutely internal, would be sorted out and order would be executed within a couple of days. Instead they cancelled my order via a message from a’no reply’ account informing they would process my refund shortly, which in all fairness, they did and to re-order.


Disgusted by Flipkart, I did not re-order. But my son did and he is facing the same problem. Delivery team of Flipkart had identical documentation which advised them to collect a 200L fridge and delivery was kept in abeyance since my son was out of station and pending communication with Flipkart Customer Care. I fail to understand Flipkart’s repeated operational failure.
