After having seen the fall of Indatimes Shopping as my preferred site for online shopping, I had given up buying books online. Recently I came across this site and read the reviews on mouthshut and on blogs about the quick service of the site. Still I didn’t have a chance to order anything from the site. A few days ago, I tried to go it a go, and I ordered a book which retails for around Rs600. The site gave a 25% discount on it. I paid thru direct debit and got the book within 48hours. I was amazed by its efficiency and promptness.
The look and feel of the site is a bit archaic. They can spruce up the site and make it more attractive. But as long as they keep their logistics efficient, this is but a minor quibble. Also I noticed that many books were marked’Out of stock.’ This points out to missed opportunities as I wouldn’t wait for them to restock and would rather buy from somewhere else.
All in all, they are focused(i.e. sell only books), they have a good collection and they are quick. What more do you need? I whole-heartedly recommend this site and look forward to buying more books from this site.
