If you are planning to order something from Flipkart to give as gifts to someone you love, think again. Orders never come on time and you will be disappointed. Flipkart neither cares about the customers nor tries to retain them by correcting their mistakes.
I have had a very bad experience with the last two orders that I placed on Flipkart. I had placed an order for the Twilight saga and the books were not delivered on the promised date. This order was intended to be a gift and I had placed the order in advance so that it arrives at least two days before my friend’s birthday. However, I did not receive the order on time, despite following up with Flipkart. I ended up giving the gift 4 days after the birthday.
However, I have placed two more orders for two games recently for my cousin’s birthday, assured that Flipkart will not disappoint me this time. But disappointment is the only thing left for me now. One of the games was supposed to be delivered on 4th January 2014 and the second game was supposed to be delivered on 6th January 2014. At first, the 4th January game’s delivery date was postponed to Monday(6th Jan) for reasons I do not know. And bear in mind that I had been under the impression that the delivery would be done on the day promised. When the delivery did not happen on 4th Jan, I tracked the order and came to know that the game had arrived to my city but is just a couple of hours away from the delivery location. Despite being so close to me, the delivery did not happen. I gave Flipkart another chance and thought that the delivery for both the games would happen on 6th Jan. And I had been waiting for delivery the whole day. I got a message on 7th Jan that the delivery has been cancelled and that Flipkart regrets the inconvenience caused. And it was stated that the delivery did not happen because of some courier reason. I really have no interest in knowing these problems, the only thing that matters for me is the delivery and on the promised date. Games were so close to my delivery location but yet they were not delivered.
I am sick and tired of trying to understand this behavior of Flipkart. I could not gift my cousin anything because the games never came to me. After being a Flipkart loyal customer over the couple of years, I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND FLIPKART TO ANYONE.
