Id sent a Christmas gift worth about rs. 1000 to an acquaintance who works at hdfc bank. I placed the order a couple days before it was to be delivered. Yet, on the day of the delivery, i was told at 4:30 pm that theyd be delivering the goods in another 5-10 mins. Well, long story short, after repeated phone calls from me till after 7, i was conveniently told the recipient was not present at the office (bank offices close early, especially on Christmas eve, a fact that i had made them aware of before).
When i asked to talk to the manager, i was given 3 different names by different people, and none of them turned out to be the manager so i ultimately had to give up. Not only has the whole experience been a nightmare, with repeated phone calls from abroad - each time being given a different story, but Ive yet to get my money back for the things that never did get delivered!!! I would advise the reader to stay away from floraindia.com at all costs.
Its simply not worth the headache if you end up having to dispute credit card charges as being fraudulent.
