I have been looking for a website to send a wine hamper to one of my friends. Since the person has a good taste of wine, I didnt want to order a lower quality stuff. I liked a~Rs1800 package and sought more details from their online help. Someone with name "Rahul", mentioned that Sula Delux would be supplied. On quick search I couldnt find anything and any review on Sula Delux.
Just to avoid sending crap to this friend of mine, I went to a link with a picture of sparkling wine bottle. The package was costlier by Rs 400 bucks, So I asked the same representative, on quality of wine(all their packages just mention wine hamper without giving any details about the quality).
He wanted to quickly close his sale and was getting restless for 5 min of his time. He soothed me by detailing that it is a sparkling wine Sula Brut. The package seemed worth to me with~Rs 800 listed price of the Brute bottle and~Rs 900 for cake and paying Rs 500 for a delivery.
The order was delivered well on time. Later in the day, while wishing my friend he made a reference on wine delivered. I felt very bad about the some Rs 300 bottle been delivered to him in the hamper.
Just to ensure that it is not by mistake from this site, I contacted their online representative(Rahul again), and when I listed my full details and commitment from their side, he went offline. For their dismay, I ended up taking a snapshot of chat, before the representative blocked me out of the chat for no reason whatsoever(which I have provided in the attached), so such customer service is brought to everyone notice.
Obviously I was desperate to send a wine bottle else I would have preferred more trusted sources such as Archies and FnP. And people behind this venture took full benefit of it. To my surprise, when I searched for venting out my thoughts on this painful experience, I found few more of such cases. Guess I should have done that earlier than making an order.
My order number is: FNC-0558, dated 27 December 2013 for the company representatives, who are really serious about finding the lapses in their services and for people who think I have not availed their services.
