I chose flyDubai because of the competitive fare they offered. That was 7 months before my schedule. However, 2 months before I fly, flydubai just stops their service to Bangkok. As a result, they gave me an option to fly with Emirates from Bangkok to Dubai and from Dubai to Bangkok.
FlyDubai is operated at Terminal 2 so I had to take a small bus from Terminal 1. It was a long trip just to change the terminal.
Surprising, I got upgraded to Business class on my flight to Bucharest. It was a flat bed of 737MAX aircraft, and it took only 4 hours to Bucharest. This is a good chance since you have to pay 25AED extra if you want to watch a movie on Economy class.
On the way back, the check in staff was much more efficient compared to airport staffs in Thailand. The flight was delayed but we still arrive at Dubai airport on schedule. My bag arrived in good condition at Bangkok airport.
The 737MAX is new(they just got for 3 months). In my opinion, the seat near the wing where I sit is extremely cold.
1thing that I have to point out is you really have to pre-book your meal if you need one. They do not put extra hot food.
