Better quality radio reception

My station is WGNA out of Albany, New York and plays all country music. Mostly new but they do play some older tunes also and they have a request line at various times so you can hear what you ask to hear.

I am over an hour away from the station and it comes in just as well as the stations here in the city I live in.

How do I compare am radio to fm? Maybe by saying it is like comparing the sound quality of a record or cassette to that of a c/d. It is so much clearer and nicer sounding.

I used to be able to listen to my radio station over the computer while online and now because of so much ado about copying songs going on they have been forced to continue allowing it to come through the computer which to me is unfair but then there are many things in life that are unfair and that is not what I am here to talk about.

The am stations fade in and out a lot and the quality of sound is much poorer so I always listen to fm. It has more of a stereo sound to it.

There really isn’t too much I can say on this topic so this will be one of my shorter reviews. Speaking of which, this has nothing to do with the subject at hand but I notice a lot of people rate lower when a review is short and some times there is only so much you can say. Also I have found some short reviews to be very complete in their content. Just a little added food for thought.
