FM Rainbow is the only station in Mumbai that has english music 8 hours daily. mornings 8-11 am, 2-4 pm, night 10pm-1am.
They dont have any non-sense talk, nor any stupid contests.The RJs are really good to talk, and its easier to talk to them by calling them in the studio, compared to other radio stations.And they are Live.Very few ads, and that too most of them are social announcements. Every RJ has a different style of hosting the show.Also they have SMS request hours where you can SMS them .

The reception sound is quite bad, and should improve if they wanna really compete with private stations. Especially if you are in a train you might not be able to hear it at all.And sometimes the songs skip, although this is now very rare.You might find the hourly news updates to be interrupting , and even the cricket updates in between the songs to be very irritating.There are no dial-ins with celebs/listeners.Also listeners are not put on air at all.NO gifts or prizes for the correct answers. It also has Marathi songs in the mornings 5-8 am.Remaining hours are for Hindi.Also you will find that they play hatke music.And not the new releases like other stations.
Overall its really good.Its the TRUE radio, and not a commercial market-oriented one.Its also the oldest FM radio in Mumbai. Long live 107.1 !!!
