I took out my wife to Focaccia on Valentines Day( 2015) since she loves Continental and had long told that this is a nice place. We did not have a reservation but we were alloted a table. My first impression was that I loved the place. The ambience was perfect and surrounding was great. The place was surprisingly full of foreigners too.
We had entered the place at around 230pm, which I think is late. We decided to go for the unlimited option. The service was very slow. And to our embarrassment, we weren’t taken care as much as the foreigners were. Maybe they were their key customers.
Food was served in good quantities. Though the waiter seemed reluctant to take our pasta order. The pizza was average and cold too. Beyond the first few servings the waiter seemed busy with something else. The food was hard on my stomach too, though my wife did not have any troubles. Dessert was excellent.
Overall a bad experience, the ambience just lit up our spirits.
