Not too bad if you arent comparing it with Starbucks or something of that caliber. But if you have to drink something less expensive, then I recommend Folgers Coffees.
I, in particular like the Gourmet Blend. I have tried them all but this one is the best by far. It is full bodied, dark but mellow. You come closer to savoring the beans with the Gourmet Blend than any of the others.
You can buy Folgers in the bean style but I have a problem with that. If you are going to pay near $5 a pound, why not go ahead and pay $10 for Starbucks? I have never purchased Folgers in the whole bean variety. But I have certainly bought my fair share in the ground form.
Here in the Midwest US where I am from, you can usually find Folgers for about $5.95 for a near 3 pound can. Used to be a 3 pound can but inflation and corporate conglomerate greediness has led us to pay more for less. A 3 pound can is now 34.5 oz. Or 2 pound 2.5 oz. And for a much higher price than it once was. I hate that too.
There is a certain aroma you smell when you first open a can of Folgers. It smells of fresh roasted beans. This delightful smell will not last long though if you do not take precautions to ensure that it does. How might one go about keeping that wonderful smell and taste as fresh as it was that day that you opened it? All that you need to do is place it in your freezer after each time you use from the can. It will always smell as great as it did when you opened it!
You may purchase Folgers Coffees in the 1 pound can, which of course is less than 1 pound. You usually pay about $2.50 for this. It is best to buy in the near 3 pound cans though. You save a bit of money and it will of course last longer.
I do recommend Folgers to you if you want a decent cup of coffee for less money than you would pay for a premium brand.
