As I wrote to you sometime back, I like Nescafe Classic in instant coffee. When it comes to ground coffee, I prefer Folgers . Folgers is a trusted brand of coffee in Canada. You get both instant and ground coffee in this brand , but my vote is for ground coffee in Folgers!
I feel very refreshed and active after a cup of Folgers. I have also made it a point not to exceed more than two cups per day .We all know that coffee is not that good for our health, as it contains caffeine. But, we cannot simply avoid it also. It is okay if you are not addicted to it!
Folgers is 100 % pure coffee , by Proctor & Gamble Inc. It comes in many combinations of flavour. The one we are using is Folgers Classic Roast. It is smooth, balanced and everyday blend.You also get decaf version of this blend. I find decaf coffee lacking in taste , though it may be good healthwise , as compared to the regular one. I go for regular blend!
There are other blends available in Folgers like Mountain Roast, Breakfast blend , Gourmet Supreme , 100% Columbian and French Roast.
Folgers coffee comes in attractive red coloured 1 kg tin. The price is very reasonable. We paid roughly about 8 Canadian dollars for the 1 kg tin.
When you open a tin of this coffee, it is advisable that you refrigerate it as with all other coffee, to help preserve flavor and aroma. I do this always and find that the coffee really preserves it’s nice aroma when it is refrigerated.
You can brew this coffee in coffee makers or if you don’t have one, just on stove top. According to instruction given in the tin, you are supposed to add 1 and a half tablespoon of Folgers coffee for each cup of coffee. I add only 1 tbsp per cup .You can use more or less coffee to get your desired strength.
This product is designed for all coffee makers. I think, you all should give a try to this coffee. I am sure you will enjoy the rich taste of Folgers. Next time when you are thinking which brand to buy, just try this Folgers for a change .
