Ordered a handsfree wired heardset for my blackberry from fommy.co.in website. Initially was told would be delivered in 3 days after asking my location. When I saw no update till 4th day. Enquired with customer service. Am told will check into it. No update even after 6th day. On enquiry again, told that it would be shipped only after 7 days as the product has to come from the US. Note: I’d specifically asked if the delivery would happen in 3-4 days as I was planning to travel and there would be no one to collect the package.
After being shunted around for quite some time, was send the product at last when I was on the verge of cancelling the order. And then the ordeal began again. The product did not work. Again called up the so-called customer care - by now was familier with the guys there - Chinmay etc. Was told pls send back. How do I send back? Pls drop the same at the courier office which is at the other end of the city. Told pls arrange for pick up as I need to work also and not just follow up for a purchase I made. Told ok, will work out. Then was shunted between the courier agency and the assholes at Fommy. Courier says they’ve not got any instruction from Fommy- the customer disservice team at fommy says "yes we have." When told to forward me the mail - "sorry sir, against policy." To cut a long story short - i’m today saddled with a defective product which I cannot return as the return time has also lapsed. it sits in its wrapped case reminding me NEVER AGAIN to deal with the stupid company that is Fommy.co.in.
This was the second time i’d dealt with the company and both times were simply HORRIBLE. I thought they’s improved when I dealt a second time but I guess I needed to be twice bit to be shy. pls take my advice and never ever deal with these guys.
