Do you eat with your mouth open? Eww one of the worst thing to do in a restaurant is hearing those sounds of pyaaz, roti and subji being chopped by the teeth and when the sounds come out of a open mouth you feel more eww then people eating it. So next time you walk in to a restaurant dressed all good for the occasion make sure you have this etiquette in your mind. I have seen people making sounds like chaap chaap…chup chup…oh gosh.

Ok eat politely and in a mannered way. Don’t hurry on the food as if you are an animal waiting for the prey. Take a look at the menu nicely and then check for the things you like. The biggest purpose of coming to a place outside your house is to relax and eat something new hence try that. Now relax while the food comes, in process also order some starters. They help in passing time and nothing else. Talk before the dinner.just converse a lot with whatever people you going with.

Sit well…don’t sleep on the chairs and sofas of the restaurant. You pay for the time and food you spend there, you don’t own the place. People often think that they pay hence they own, which is too wrong to think. I feel you gotto respect the owner investment there. Imagine any of your guests acting that way in your home.

Act politely with the waiter. May be carry a smile too, it helps coz this creates a nice rapport with you and the one serving you. TIP if you believe in tipping else don’t. He/she is a human being serving not a slave. Its his job let him do with some amount of respect. Imagine you being curbed all the time by your bosses. So respect and get some in return.

Order the food as per your need. Don’t make it hotch potch and order as if you having a marriage reception. The bottom line is food shouldn’t be wasted. My naniji said once “Khaane ke liye hi saari taklife hai”. You waste the food means u disrespect it, so avoid wastage.

If the food is good, appreciate it and pass it on to the waiter or the captain else if it is bad, criticize it exactly that whatever is bad about the food. This will help them to improve. Use strong words if the food isn’t good and the behavior of the staff isn’t cooperative then you can give jaise ko taisa. RIGHT.

I remember going to a restaurant and no one was listening to us. The food was terrible and hence we can tolerate other things but for FOOD nope. Dhananjay even went ahead and complained the manager and created a scene.

So carry my points. Eat well, call for adequate food and if needed call for more, don’t waste. Eat in a mannered way, remember you are human beings not Kutte Billi:P. So that’s enough on this topic. A quick review from me coz I am not well to write more.
