I have been a regular visitor of Foodworld(FW) in Jayanagar 7th block, and when I shifted to Indiranagar, I used to buy from 100ft rd FW. from couple of months, their service is becoming poorer day by day. 2 weeks back, they billed 2 units of tea packet when I had just purchased 1 unit. I realized that when I reached home and thought it was not worth going back to FW and argue for wrong billing, as the staff there, would declare that im wrong.
Yesterday, I went there and this incident happened again. First a lady in front of me bought 2 indian oranges and she was billed for imported oranges by the person there(Prashanth). when she noticed it and complained to the store incharge there(Boopati), she changed the billing to the correct product price. Next was my turn for billing, and the store incharge stared to bill. I had bought 2 units of Minuite Maid Orange juice, and she billed for 3 units. When I noticed that and complained to her, she argued with me that it was 3 units, and finally when I showed that there were only 2 units, she changed the bill, and had no courtesy to apologize also! I asked for the store manager, and she initially she refused to call the manager there. Looks like all the employees there do this wrong billing to every customer. Finally she agreed to give the store managers contact details. when I called the store manager(Gupta, 9739320630), he was in no mood to talk to me to listen to my complaints and finally he agreed to take some action, but till now did not hear anything from him. looks like he is also involved with the employees.
After this incident, I have decided never to go to Foodworld again. I feel the other stores in Indiranagar like More and MK retails are much better and do no cheat the customers.
