I have been recently checking out the Food TV website, as my cable company finally got on the ball and I finally have Food TV.
What a great website, chock full of so much information, it is amazing. There is no way you could read everything there is to read in one sitting. Ill try to give you a small over view of what youll find on FoodTV.com, but you really must go check it out for yourself to get the full view of everything on the web site.
First off, of course youll find recipes galore! I was looking for a new way to make mashed potatoes on Sunday and I got a ton of recipes, and the recipe I made was fantastic.
Along the line of recipes, there are also cooking tips, questions you can ask some of the chefs/cooks, and also tips of things to go along with a meal, if you want something to go with your main meal for example.
Another thing I really like about the web site are the in depth biographies of the personalities you see on Food TV. It is interesting to know where these people got their training and what all they are doing now, along with being on Food TV.
There is also an online store where you can buy a lot of stuff related to Food TV. You can order anything from Iron Chef t-shirts and hats and aprons (love that Iron Chef!) to cookbooks and more. It does seem to be a bit on the pricy side of cookbooks, but its still a fun spot to check out.
If you need to know when your favorite Food TV show is coming on or what they will talk about, its all right there in a handy and easy to ready schedule. If you missed a contact number or address on one of the shows, they list all the numbers and addresses you need for all the delectable stuff you see, like on Food Finds and bad things like that (I say bad because they always show things that are not nearby to me that look so good I want to call them all and order!).
All that I just mentioned really just scratches the surface of all that FoodTV.com has to offer! After you are done reading reviews and writing them here, hop over to FoodTV.com and enjoy all they have to offer :)
