The correct title of this book is For The New Intellectual. It is a non-fiction book by the founder of Objectivism. It defines and explains many issues which will be the most prevalent in American history for a long time. It deals with ethics of government and individuals and also deals with the issues of taxes, racism and war.
This is my favorite non-fiction book to read, and whenever I am disgusted by the media or just irrational people around me, I like to grab this book and re-read it. It is fairly easy to read, but fairly hard to understand. With that I mean that the reader has to do a lot of thinking on his/her own in order to understand the topics and reach the proper conclusions.
Like with all the books by the same author, if you refuse to rational and accept facts, stay away from this book. If you believe in individualism, freedom and believe that a philosophy based on reason ought to be your guide in life, read it.
