I have extremely bad experience with the one year subscription package offered by the Forbes India Magazine.
The customer care(CC) executive showed prompt response towards the subscription process and it took only 2-3 days when courier person came to me for collecting the amount(i had chosen the cash payment option) but after that I haven’t got any call from the CC. I was told that it takes 10 days to 2 weeks time to start your subscription but I did not get any response. Every time when I called the CC, it was told that you will receive the magazine in 2-3 business days but that day did not come. Finally after my various calling efforts after 1 month and 5 days of payment I received the receipt of my payment through email.
Some date was mentioned in the mail that from that date onwards I shall start getting my issues. But again they showed their great work and I did not receive anything for next 12 days from the mentioned date. Finally I wrote a letter telling them that I am going to complaint against them in consumer forum, after this they showed some action and I received my first issue of the subscription within 48 hrs.(after 1 month and 20 days from the date of payment)
But again it is almost 20 days and I am waiting for the next issue.
I would advice you all that its better to purchase this magazine from stands rather than subscribing for it.
