I own a eco sports 2018 model diesel variant, I would like to share my experience with the car, First of all it’s the very first Ford car for me, previously I owned fiat l linea and vw vento both of them r just amazing piece of art and engineering, so y did I choose Ford the answer was simple good build quality and easy to maintain car. Now my personal experience with the eco, it’s a fun to drive car with commanding seat position and fair ample of space inside but best suited for 4 adults and one child. Sound system, Driving dynamics are good but it took a time to get used to those monstrous A pillar which are as same as that of the fiats, its fuel efficient etc, to sum its all best budget car But there are some issues as well, the diesel engine is the same as its predecessors no upgrades in that so it will feel lethargic and not that puchy so to overtake u have to frequently change the gears. Maximum it can touch 175 kmpl that’s a big plus for such a cross over, the gears r little rubberish(Best are with the VWS) but u will get used to it in a while, build quality is good but its compromised front door r heavy but the rear ones are as light as it can be moreover the plastic quality inside the cabin have been made worse due cost cutting done by the company which can be easily analyzed when u see the sharp cuts in plastics inside the car cabin which are attended unprofessionally so does with the front wipers size of which can be compared to that of autos. While driving u will be able to experience tire noise and wind blast which can easily heard in the car cabin while driving at 105 + kmpl which will eventually get worse after 130s.
The car is best enjoyed between 90 to 110 kmpl. Hope this helps.
