It has been a great response to the Ford Ecosport in india. Ford people may not have even dreamed about such a response.overwhelming to say the list. And what the customers who are eagerly and expectantly visiting the Ford Showrooms getting in return. Arrogant and Curt replied from dealers. I along with two of my friends went to book the Ecosport 1.5 TDCi Titanium.
We were willing to book three cars but the dealer said the waiting period is 8 month and also said we have to take worth 45000 rs accessories compulsorily. Even after reasoning with them not to make it compulsory they were not ready to ease up the compulsion even though we were booking three cars at once. We even complained to main office where we were told that accessories r not compulsory and also told same to dealer through conference call.
During the conf call dealer asked us to come to them next day and said they will work out something. When we went there next day we were again told that we will have to take accessories. And also informed that we will have to pay extra if prices rise at the time of delivery. After this incident we got fair idea whats lay in store for us if we purchase Ford Ecosport.
I thought the issue is of our local dealer only but after reading the reviews here it seems the common phenomenon. Even though ford people have good product at their hand their arrogance will bring them down hard n fast. As for u, s we booked Dusters!
