Yes, the title of this review is appropriate for Ford Ecosport. when it was launched, thought it will beat the Duster. but after the price hike and reduction of few features made it not value for money SUV. and yes by which feature we will call it a SUV, only the ground clearance of 200 mm? but what abut the space at the rear seat? if 3 healthy people get at the rear seat, there will be no space even for a mosquito. ac is good for the front seat, but it it does not throw to the rear even with 4 AC vents.
Top of that huge waiting time for Ecosport made people to select other SUV like Ertiga and Xylo. and not to mention the un-friendly dealer service. when I read the test drive review at https://goo.gl/mbyWKH I was impressed and test driven it with my friend. the engine is smooth and have good pick up.
Control is good and the features like ABS, adjustable steering, electrical mirrors, good music system with Bluetooth make it a ideal car for young citizen. but a family man like me looks for space, low maintenance, good mileage in city, large boot space and good dealer service.
Ecosport couldn’t match my requirements and I am finding for a suitable family car.
