Highlights: Ford Endeavour
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Good Comfort, dashing looks
-Perfect Gear Ratios for Indian Driving conditions
-Amazingly stable and confident ride (excellent braking and road manners)
-Superb AC and separate vents for all seats integrated very nicely in the roof
-very contained roll-over yet comfortable and smooth on pot holes
-An Average of 8.5Km/l in city with full time AC and heavy footed driving style!
-OK to drive but another 25BHP would have helped a lot on highway & over taking
-Turbo lag makes you work hard a little bit but after 2000RPM you are OK
-In 4x4 low mode, you can make your own roads!!
-Thanks to huge torque, lower height, big ground clearance and big tyres, you can do some serious off-roading with a confidence that is unmatched.
-absolute fun to drive
Lowlights:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-back seat does not have sufficient vertical leg room, its not comfortable for tall person during a long journey. But then its an off-roader built on a truck platform I guess its expected to have raised flooring at the back!!
-overall expensive with accessories way too expensive
-company fitted stereo is too basic!!

Word of Advice:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-This is a true SUV and is very much capable in 4x4 version. If you are planning to drive only in the city without going off-road you could perhaps consider going for 4x2 version which is roughly Rs. 100.000 cheaper but I would still advice to go for 4x4 version only.
Since the vehicle is very big and heavy, it may get stuck in mud/pot holes and taking it out will become a nightmare if you had only 4x2 option, however its really no issue in 4x4 low mode. I have had situations where I had to engage 4x4 in city driving also couple of times and came out otherwise difficult situations without having to apply excessive race or anything, I would strongly suggest to go for 4x4 version.
