Ford Escort - Alpha is one of the best models from Ford India.
Unfortunately it never got the recognition it should have had. Its 16V DOCH Engine takes driving pleasure to its limit.
The interiors are amongst the best in its category with wooden finish on the Dash and very well contoured seats.
The only problem with this vehicle is that it had the same shape as the earlier model, which was the Ford Escort, 1.3 Lit. This model was very sluggish, as its power to weight ratio was low. Since Alpha’s shape was not changed, it continued to suffer from the problems its predecessor created.
Now, unfortunately the model is no longer available. I still feel that Ford Escort should be re-introduced after making some cosmetic changes. Technically it is one of the best value for money options in its category.
I am using this vehicle for the last 3 years and I am experiencing complete troublefree performance from the car.
