I have owned an Escort for the past couple of years and am surprised that people don’t rate this car highly.
Ford have come up with a right car for the family. It has plenty of room both front and back so you don’t feel cramped. The suspension has been greatly improved from their previous models and the ride is certainly a lot smoother then it used to be.
Although the parts are manufactured outside India the car is assembled here and the price reflects this. The parts may be dear but think of how many times a well maintained car actually breaks down.. I feel that most of us tend to neglect the maintenance and then feel that we have a bad deal because the car breaks down.
This goes for any car - maintain it, and you won’t have to pay those extra few bucks when it does actually go in for service.
I’m happy with my Escort and would happily recommend it to anyone thinking of buying a car.
