I own a Fiesta 1.4 Zxi TDCi Deisel. In my opinion this is a good car. Nevertheless every car driver can give some important points for improvement that the company should respect.
The car’s interiors is what is best compared to any other car (in this price segment).
The second best thing is the mileage.It really makes me happy. If you are looking for deisel, mileage with average power. I would recommend this car.
Engine has a pretty good pickup (if not as much as in Accent CRDi). But, for city driving this is good.
You can cruise to about 150 Kmph (I know because I have done that).
Another good thing is the noise level. Far too less when compared to Accent CRDi.
Its got a 2 ton AC (which is probably the most powerful in this range).
Now for the improvement things.
Engine response. Normally deisel engines response time is much slower than petrol cars. But, here is a car which is may be the slowest. You pump your throttle and it will take a couple of seconds to zoooppp !!.. which is not at all good. This is because timing is one thing which is very very important.
There is an arm rest in the rare seat which is very painful. This is because the arm rest has twin cup holders which is not covered. So, when you are not drinking these cups are open and your arm exactly rests on that which irritates. Especially if you are holding a magazine/newspaper in your hand.
Rare view is very very less (but, faaaaaaaaar better than baleno which has no view at all). But, manageable
Ford can definitely improve in these areas.
Overall I would rate this car 6 out of 10. But, it still goes on your requirement specifications. People looking for travel travel all the time (like me) can really go for this car.
