I have bought a Ford Fiesta 1.4 on 23rd feb and finished one month of usage. Subsequently GM launched Chevy Aveo.
While there is lot of hype /ads/ Abhiskek bachchan etc, this is my feedback after using the car for a month:
The car is really smooth to drive and be driven. Interiors are spacious ( though less compared to Honda City).
Mileage is 10kmpl in city with 30% AC. ( though this is for the first 300km.) will update you all after more usage.
Car looks elegant and definitely better looking than accent/baleno/esteem.
I felt that Honda city is overpriced by 1.5-2lacs.
Aveo is korean product and the build quality is poor. While Aveo has biege interiors , the car does not look ’classy’ or ’elegant’.
Whats not so good:
suspension is not very smooth and does transfer bumps on to the passengers.
Biege interiors could have been provided in the base model also.
Bonnet release and side indicator switch are on the left, not suitable for right hand side driving in India
