Hallo all,
After a long analysis in the web sites and series of test drives my choice among diesel hatch backs finally rested on Figo. My diesel Sea Grey Titanium was delivered from Kairali Ford, Trivandrum on September 15. Now my ODO reads 1800 km and I thought it is time for initial reviews.
Really Figo is a VFM car. The advantages** I felt:-
1. Ride quality – Sturdy engine. Very stable even at speeds 80 - 100 km
2. Space – Very spacious. Leg room is good for rear passengers.
3. Excellent AC – 1 is enough for normal climate.
4. Interior very good – Seat upholstery really excellent.
5. Large boot space – As I have to shuttle more often to air ports and RW stations with more luggages this is a big advantage. Even boot can open with remote control key.
6. Music system with high quality – blue tooth pairing very good.
7. Mileage is good – 15 to 18 kms.(mainly in city+HW, without any long trips). Dealers promises improved mileage after the 1st service.
Disadvantages:*
1. Even in the high end model TITANIUM features like power windows for rear passengers, Automatic climate control, Tilt adjustable steering, 50:50 or 40:60 foldable rear seats(like Beat, Polo etc)etc are not provided.
2. In some cases second gear seems to be under powered(while down shifting mainly)
3. External mirrors do not fold completely.
Apart from these Figo really performed well so far for its reputation and hope this will repeat in good service also.
