I have bought Figo Diesel ZXI in Jan 2011(after 1 year of launch of figo). I am totally disappointed with the problems and support from figo dealers or ford India.
I really doubt whether the car is made for Indian roads.
1.Figo has a major major road clearence problem...with just 2 people in car it will hit the road bump..with full load in car the road bump will cause major damage to the car
2.Front plastic mud flaps will get broken due to problem 1 mentioned... Did ford india not tested the car on Indian roads?
3.Poor mileage..In city max 13 kms per litre it gives....dealers always tells false information while buying the car
4.Head Light Problem. On highways it is very risky to travel during nights...Surprisingly ford india doesn’t have any solution to this !
5.Dealers have limited knowledge about figo specifications.
For eg: I asked 2 dealers what is the capacity of figo head lamps. Answer is NOT SURE.
i asked whether the existing wiring of head lamps will support higher capacity head lamps...answer is NOT SURE
6.Maintenance after the 2nd service , for every 10, 000 KMS we need to spend around 4000/- for consumables which is very very very costly.
