Ford figo is a very good car Ford India has launched the new Figo at Rs. 4.29 lacs for the petrol and Rs. 5.3 lacs for the diesel variant today. The hatch shares its face and platform with the recently launched Aspire, just like the rest of its hatch-compact-sedan peers. The vehicle will compete with Maruti Suzuki Swift, Hyundai Grand i10 and Tata Bolt. Moreover, Ford has already discontinued the Figo, the vehicle will step into its shoes from next week. Like the Aspire, the new Figo is most likely to get standard dual front airbags and will also share its powertrain with the Aspire.
Just like its mileage figures, its acceleration numbers have also been improved. As for the pickup, its petrol options take around 15 seconds to break the 100 Kmph mark, but its diesel trims can do it in just 13 seconds. Both the engines are mated with a five speed manual gearbox, and they reach a top speed of around 150 Kmph. The one with an automatic transmission allows it to clock a top speed of approximately 160 Kmph. It accelerates towards 100 Kmph mark from a standstill in just 11 seconds.
