chrome lining around the grill is suble & classy the chrome slats on the figo extend all the way to the edges of the grill.bonnet is flared at the edges and gets a power bulge in the middle.chrome insert on the front fender is a classy touch.wing mirrors get integrated turn signals that look rather bulbous.only the drivers door handle gets a keywhole.all wheels wells get hard plastic cladding.tyre noise is well controlled at legal speeds.the figos tail lights look extremely similar to the aspires .ground clearance of 174 mm is sufficient.the figo gets black interiors with matte silver accents and a few touchs of chrome.thankfully, ford has given up on the optional red dash top colour that was available on the old ford figo.the cabin width and wide glass area make the interior an airy place to be in.fit and finishing quality on the inside is good and nothing feels cheap.the airy cabin is backed up by a good amount of interior space.shorter drivers have trouble reaching the pedals, since the seat doesnt move very far forward.the gap between front seats is sufficient.the steering is nice to grip. mid displays the trip meter, economy shift outside temperature, real time fuel economy, distance to empty average speed and average fuel economy.classy control knob for the headlamps.the inner door handle gets a matte silver finish and doubles up as the door lock.remote key gets a button for opening the boot.the 2nd key is a standard one, sans remote.the service interval for the new figo is 10, 000 km, while that for its rivals is 5, 000km, this further ensure low cost of ownership.while all these plans sound good and genuine, changing peoples perception about ford will be a huge challenge.
