Nothing to worry about Ford Figo Petrol mileage. I bought my Ford figo 1.2 L Exi on 21st April 2010 and driven 1200 KM till date. Regarding dealer Kairali ford cochin, no disturbing calls after enquiry has been made, thanks to my sales person Mr. Shinto and also got the delivery on time.
Initially I was getting only 10-13 KMPL mileage and I discussed this with the workshop manager. He advised me to "check the mileage by filling the tank fully , drive 50-100 KMs and again fill it as earlier fully. Then divide distance travelled by fuel filled second time. Drive mostly in 4th and fifth gear keeping a speed up to 70 KMPH because if speed exceeds 70 then the mileage will be down drastically ". I filled the tank from Trichur and driven to Cochin 69.2 Kms mostly in 4th and 5th gear maintaining a speed up to 70 KMPH. After driving 69.2 KMs again I filled the tank and the quantity was 3.54 Litres. so mileage is 69.2/3.54= 19.54 KMPL. In that 69.2 KMs almost 10 KMs was through city.
Check your Figo’s mileage the same way and find the difference.
