Figo is a car that Ford has unveiled with a view in mind: Value for money, and albeit the quality of plastics and chrome used in interiors and exteriors is sub standard, but overall value for money is great, considering the build quality and features in this price range.
I own a Figo 1.2 Zxi and drove it 5500+ km within almost an year at the time of writing this review. It is a reliable car, at least in city. I haven’t driven much on highways but whenever I did, it was a great experience. Although the car is heavy and takes time to reach 100, but once it is past 100, it is very stable and controllable.
Drive and handling is good with 1-2 people but make sit 4 with luggage and the car shows lack of power and the power subsides more with AC on!(Beware of Figo pickup junkies, you’d need Ritz:)
Otherwise the car is good and has a few features of costlier cars like rear defogger with auto cut off, PATS, crank-protection and powerful AC.
Recommendation: Totally depends on the need. I bought this car just for the value it offers Zxi@Rs 4.60(on-road), but if you need a highway car, diesel figo is a better option than petrol. Otherwise go for Ritz or i10.
