April 17, 2017: Ford has launched a new Sports variant for the Figo. Unlike many other sports edition cars, the Figo Sports also features mechanical tweaks, apart from the cosmetic upgrades. It is available as an option on the Titanium variant with both the 1.2-litre petrol and the 1.5-litre diesel engine options. The Sports variant gets a stiffer suspension setup which makes the handling of the car sportier. To compliment this characteristic, the Figo also gets a black mesh grille, bigger 15-inch black alloy wheels, contrast roof, black ORVMs, smoked headlamps, boot-mounted spoiler, side and rear decals with an ’S’ badge, leather wrapped steering wheel and all-black interiors with red contrast stitching to make the car look and feel more sporty. The price of the Sports variant is Rs 50, 000 more than the standard Titanium variant.
