To feel the real fusion between you and the Ford Fusion+, take it to Bombay-Pune Expressway and let the beast rev and run. Its a pleasure behind the leather covered steering wheels and the car responds extremely well to your suttle instructions. Even steep climbs can be negotiated on 4th gear without any problems and you have to consciously check the speedometer to ensure that you are not overspeeding beyond control. There is no shake and you really feel that you are driving a powerful and stable car.
As far as looks go, I had people rolling down their windows and asking me about the car at least on two occassions. Its not a car for everyone as the looks are distinctively different and rugged. Another minor feature that I like in the car are the power window buttons. Unlike other cars in its segment, they are clean and "button like" (you know what I mean) which not only looks professional but are easy to clean and maintain.
The only thing that I miss on the instruments panel is probably a digital compass. It would have been just great.
There is though a small inconvenience, the front hood lid lever is located below the front passenger side and is quite hard to pull, especially when you are drive alone in the petrol bunk and want someone to check the engine oil. You fist struggle from the drivers side without success and then you have to get down, to to the passengers side and pull it hard to open the hood. I am sure, Ford can do a better job at this.
Overall, the car gives you a certain pride when you own it. A perfect fusion between the ones who love their machine and the machine itself.
