Recently bought the Ford fusion (Black) from MPL Ford, Chennai. The vehicle I bought was re-launched version of Fusion (no more fusion+ and all it’s just fusion). The dash and engine are same as Fiesta(1.6 version)
I’ll say this is the best in class vehicle. For the price (less than 6.4L) it gives us 1.6L engine with 101 horses (No other brand (even ford fiesta) gives this combo...). Only thing is you should like hatchback concept (I loved it). Also the other features are awesome (remote keyless entry, welcome lights, power and tiltable steering, power windows (all 4), central locking, rear door child lock, DTE (distance to empty), digital odo and analog tacho, Front and rear wipers with rear defogger and spray, 60:40 split folding seats, generous front and rear leg rooms (even for tall peoples, definetly a bigger boot, parcel tray, front and rear fog lamps, 15" 195/60 tubeless radials etc... etc...)... remember all these features with a 1.6L engine in any other brand (even ford feasta will put a borewell in your pocket...) Also the engine is advanced technology and uses censors for clutch and throttle...
Also the engine features a modified powertrain control mechanism. If driven properly
(Gear 1 - 0 - 10, Gear 2 - 10 - 20, Gear 3 - 20 - 30, Gear 4 - 30 - 40, Gear 5 - 40 and above)
you can get a mileage of 10+ (with a/c on) in city and 15+ in highways (I maintain a speed of 100 to 110). Vehicle exhibits exceptional highway mannerism. took the vehicle for a long trip to some parts of karnataka... the mileage is really good for this kind of power
