I am a fan of hatch backs. I bought my first ZEN way back in 1995 and replaced it with another in 1999 and had it till this year.
When I wanted a second car I went for an IKON in 2002 since Fusion was still not available. I bought my Fusion+ 1.6 petrol in 2005 replacing my IKON. Intially I was quite dissatisfied due to the rattling problems with the rear doors. But it settled down and I started to enjoy driving it when my driver was not driving it. It is an ultimate driver’s car.
The car survived two major accidents and still is fine. What I learnt was that if you face a problem attend to it immediately. When I wanted a second hatch back, I test drove the Jazz and the Fabia. These are no way near Fusion for the driving comfort. So I may go with Fusion again.( I alternate between cochin and hyderabad and need a car at both places). I can go on and on. But I agree it is one’s own choice.
