I had a small accident and took my flair to Harpree t Ford workshop. They hapilly took the car and told that the car would be ready in 2 days. The car would be repaired to your satisfaction they said.
Though the repair work was minor, but I was in for a surprise:
- The workshop people had made a dent on the rear left door, I just saw it by mistake. On enquiring they said, the dent was before also. I di agreed and called the mechanic who cheked the car before depositing it for repair. In the check sheet there was no dent mentioned as there was non present at that time. He agreed and told they will rectify the dent.
Finally next day they delivered me the car, but a very shoddy work of patching the dent was done by them. When I pointed out to them, they said we have repaired the dent, as if I wa lying. This after it was established that the dent came in the workshop itself. I just took the car from them and vowed that I will never take the car to harpreet ford workshop for repair or other wise.
Any how the accidental repair was also shoddy, till now the place which was repaired shows sign of a repair, there is a minor rust sign on the paint.
They left one scratch in the accidental repair saying that it ws not told specifically by me that it is a part of the accident. I did not get in an argument with them after having a argument on the first point. I was totally frustrated by their services that I felt iit would be better take the car to another place than bring it to Harpreet ford.
As a result of it I have taked a stand that I will not buy a Ford car for its poor services. Hence now I have bought a secong car (Esteem) and am totally satisfied by the services of Maruti service centre, its a releif you know.
If you spend a lot on a vehicle and then the services provided to you make you feel like a jailed culprit, then its better not to bind yourself in services of such companies who cannot maintain their reputation.
I have feedback from other ford owners of poor service from ford service centres.
You know what happened to FIAT India on the front of poor services !!
