This is my experience I do not dispute if someone has other impression.
I am a proud owner of FORD Flair petrol which I took delivery on the 23Dec from Samara Ford New Delhi but to my surprise when I wanted to flaunt my car the next morning I discovered that it did not start until I had tried 3 to 4 times and finally I managed to get the josh machine roaring,
The same was faced on the 25th dec morning, after which , I contacted the sales person on 25Dec whom I was dealing with in turn they gave me the workshop manager number and he in turn send the person responsible for the on road service.
I was told that the car was fine which I took on the face value but the same starting problem was encountered the next morning.
The process of calling the workshop manager started again. This time I also spoke to the Technical manager who asked me to get the car to the workshop for test, I delivered the car against job card in the workshop on 30Dec and the car was kept overnight to actually see the problem. I received a call the next morning that the car did not show anything but it took 2 self start for the engine to start.
I am really surprised that a company of this reputation is telling me that it is normal with Ford car to take 2 to 3 self start for the engine to start in the morning.
By the end of 6 months I have faced following problems
The fuel system of the car (where the car refuses to start with the first try in the morning from the very first day).
The steering assembly - Which was replaced and now working fine hopefully it works fine.
The cars ignition system started, with some problem where the car starts for 7 Seconds and dies and even if its starts it stops after running for sometime.
The fuel system has been changed now and the results are better.
After 6 months and running to the workshop again and again I am tired, frustrated irritated and looking for help.
Ford now is trying to wash their hand by telling me that it is because of the music system and the central locking which I have installed outside the dealership and have asked me to replace the wiring harness which is expensive.
But fortunately I have driven Maruti 800 , Hyundai accent and Hyundai Santro and have driven other petrol cars which do not have such a problem.
Considering the whole scenario I feel that I made a wrong decision to buy a ford car and I feel cheated.
I assume they are more dissatisfied customers who do not know of this site to express their views.
