I had a 1.6 ZXi for about 1.5 yrs. The car is extremely drivable, but I feel it has a fundamental design flaw. When brake are applied suddenly, the car does not forward-bias (that is lean to the front, thus transferring energy to the ground and reducing speed quickly) as all cars are supposed to. This results in the wheels locking up and the car sliding forward.
The dealer are extremely indifferent to customer service. When I had to get my car towed, the dealer asked me to arrange everything myself even though I offered to bear the charges. Most concentrate on just washing the car and giving it back to you -- quite different from my experience with Maruti (Ive owned both a Maruti-800 and an Esteem) where I never had to go back for a repeat visit after a service.
