This describes my experience with the ultimate driver’s car on INDIAN ROADS.
’It was about 6 months ago when we decided to go in for a mid sizer.We surveyed all the cars in this segment and test drove each of them.Since we were on a budget our choice was the middle of range midsizers.Just one test drive decided it.We chose the Ford Ikon 1.6 Exi’
Now my experience as a user:
This car feels like a ferrari(i hav not driven one yet :) when u press the gas. The acceleration is superb and u feel it.Wheelspin starts are not uncommon! The gear shift is crisp and the lower set gear ratios make the car zippy.
In fact this is the perfect josh(copyright) mac(ho)ine!
Normally an IKON 1.6 owner will love to drive but this car does come with very comfy rear seats and u wont feel the strain of journey.
Interiors:
The interiors of Exi are good enough for me though the Accent has better textured seats and doorpads.
The power window switches and steering stalk fall easily to hand.
Ride:
Extremely good suspension but u can hear the tyre noise
(makes it even better infact!)
Fuel Effeciency:
Its giving me 12.0 in the city without a.c and 14.5 on highway.Depends on your josh buds!!
If u want to go in for a midsizer go in for the Ikon 1, 6 Exi
It offers josh on a budget! The new Nxt range looks good but is pricier! So if want to go for exi , go now!
