After going throgh a very elaborate research process I bought Ikon Diesel, I went through the reviews on net, took test drive of all available Cars and then decided to go for Ikon. Following are my comments:
Dsire: Good Engine, No leg space for rare seat, poor looks
Vista: Good VFM but hatchback
I20: Overated car, poor engine power
Logan: Very good Car, but company is in trouble
Indigo CS: Good VFM but nothing new
Fiesta: Good drive, but very costly
Aveo: Not worth the price
UVA: Good drive and space but not Sedan
Ikon Diesel: Good drive, Good rear seating space
Accent: Very Old Car
Verna: Good but not worth the price
After going throgh a very elaborate research process I bought Ikon Diesel. And after 4 months of driving I am really satisfied with the Car. Drive is very good, Rear seat is very comfortable, Average is very good and all this for only Rs. 6.0 lacs. If you are looking to buy a Sedan with limited budget then Ikon is the answer. Just go for it. Only negative point about the Car is that if you are tall and well built then getting into the driver’s seat is difficult initially. Overall a very good experience so far.
